Welcome aboard! Relias offers a wide range of benefits some automatic, some requiring enrollment. Use this checklist to stay on track.

Within Your First 31 Days

To ensure coverage, complete the following within 31 days of your hire date:

  1. Review your options
  2. Check the eligibility requirements to see whom you can cover under Relias’ plans.
  3. Enroll! in your chosen plans through the benefits portal in UKG.
  4. Keep in mind:
    • If you miss the 31-Day deadline, you’ll need to wait until the next Open Enrollment unless you have a qualifying life event.
    • Medical & Dental ID cards arrive within ~ 2 weeks.
    • No vision ID card is issued just provide your name & SSN at a United Healthcare Vision providers.

Within Your First 60 Days

Once you’re settled, take the following steps:

  • 401(k) Enrollment
    • Eligible from your first day.
    • If you don’t take action, you’ll be automatically enrolled at 6% contribution after 60 days.
    • For more information, visit the 401(k) Saving for Your Retirement.
  • Activate Your Health Savings Account (HSA) (if enrolled in medical plan)
    • Visit Fidelity’s site to activate your account within 60 days.
    • This allows you to use Relias’ contributions on your behalf.
  • IRS Annual 401(k) Contribution Limit
    • For 2025, the limit is $23,500 in employee contributions.
    • If you’ve contributed to a 401(k) at another employer this year, you’ll need to track your total contributions to avoid exceeding the limit.
